Patrick (Pat) Cahill

Patrick (Pat) died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Mullingar Regional Hospital on October 17th 2025. Predeceased by his parents John and Bridget, his brothers and sisters Michael, John, Josie, Maisie and his niece Amanda.

Patrick will be sadly missed by his family, brother Jimmy, sisters Kathleen Donnelly and Margaret Gilchrist, brother-in-law Tom Donnelly, sisters-in-law Fin and Ann, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his dear friends especially Patsy Brady and Johnny Murray.

Think of him as living
In the hearts of those he touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And he was loved so much.

Rest in Peace Pat.

Reposing in St. Anne's Church, Ballycloghan, Co Longford on Sunday 19th from 5 o'clock with prayers 7 o'clock.

Mass of the Resurrection on Monday 20th at 11 o'clock. Following Mass, Pat will be laid to rest in the family plot in Abbeyshrule Cemetery.

Family flowers only please,donations if desired to Longford Palliative Care c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.
