Patrick (Pádraig) HUNTER

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pádraig) Hunter of Glasnevin, Dublin, formerly of Foxford, Co. Mayo and retired member of An Garda Síochána. Passed peacefully, after a short illness in his 96th year, surrounded by his loving family on June 5th 2025 in the tender loving care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown.

Predeceased by his devoted wife Margaret, brothers John and Rev. Fr. Séamus, sister Jane and granddaughter Sinéad.

Sadly missed by his daughter Mary and sons John, Jim, Martin and Patrick, grandchildren Jack, Finn, Niamh, Judy, Ben, Cian, James, Eoghan, Daniel and Dylan and great grandchildren Quinn and Harry, son-in-law Liam, daughters-in-law Erin, Karen, Majella and Joanne, sister-in-law Patricia, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown (D15 DE98) in the family rooms at the rear of the hospice, on Sunday evening, June 8th, from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning, June 9th, at 11.30am at the Church of Our Mother of Divine Grace, Ballygall Road East, followed by burial in Rooske Cemetery, Dunboyne, Co, Meath.
