The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Bates, The Comeraghs, Davis Road and formerly Bate’s Pub, Thomas Street, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.
Paddy passed away unexpectedly at Tipperary University Hospital on Wednesday evening surrounded by his loving family. He is pre-deceased by his sisters Bridget, Patricia, Mary & Eileen and his brother Michael. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary Ann, sons Seamus, Andy and Raymond, daughters Cora and Carmel, brother Tony, sisters Nora (Ahearne) and Terry (Leahy), grandchildren Aideen, Eimear, Michael, Niamh, Charlie and Ava, sons-in-law Sean and Richard, daughter-in-law Elaine, brothers-in-law Paddy, Tom and Liam (O'Donnell), sister-in-law Bríd (Bates), nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Sunday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Monday to St Michael’s Church, Clerihan. Funeral Mass on arrival at 12.00pm. Those who cannot attend can watch live via the link below. Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to Parkinsons Ireland.
