The death has occurred of
Pat (Patrick) O'Driscoll
On June 29th, 2025, peacefully after an illness bravely borne in the presence of his family and in the loving care of staff of Bantry General Hospital. PAT (ex: An Post) beloved son of the late Michael and Eileen, dear dad of Padraig, Eileen (Crowley), Aoife (Foley), Shelly and brother of Michael. Sadly missed by his son, daughters and their mother Mary (Riordan), brother, daughter-in-law Claire, sons-in-law Colin and Jerry, Shelly’s partner Killian, granddaughters Paige, Fiadh and Caoimhe, nephews, niece, relatives and many dear friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing in Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street on Monday June 30th from 5.30pm to 7pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday July 1st, at 12noon at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Bantry Hospice Project, Newtown, Bantry.
