The death has occurred of Paddy (Patrick) McConnon. Stonetown, Louth & formerly Monaghan Street & Corcrin, Carrickmacross. 2nd November 2025. In his 92nd Year. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, at our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Philomena, his parents Joseph & Rose and his brothers and sisters; Jim, Maida, Margaret, Rosh, Elizabeth & most recently Joe.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family; his daughters Fionnuala (Steve Francis) and Martina (Brian Duffy), his adored grandchildren; Conor, Gráinne, Holly & Lauren, his extended family, friends & neighbours.

Paddy will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Tuesday, 4th November, from 4pm until 8pm.

Paddy's funeral cortège will leave his home, Stonetown, on Wednesday, 5th November, driving to Farney Street and from there proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, where Paddy will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Philomena.

No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, via donation box c/o Lonergan Funeral Directors to Palliative Care, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
