Olive (Ollie) Whelan (née Byrne) (Hartstown and formerly of Ballyfermot) – September 18th, 2025. Passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

Sadly missed and forever remembered by her beloved husband Mick, son Andrew, daughter Melissa, her close family Jenny, Leigh and Neil, daughter-in-law Louise, sisters, brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, adored grandchildren Katelyn, Killian, Ríona, Elliot and Sean, and great-grandchildren Kai and Kemi, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. We would also like to remember her late grandson Andrew at this time.

Ollie will repose at her home on Friday evening (Sept 19th) from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday afternoon (Sept 20th) to the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, where a service to celebrate Ollie’s life will take place at 4pm. Mick, Andy and Melissa would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Shortall and the team from Riverside Medical Centre, the St Francis Hospice Homecare team, the Hibernia carers and the night nurses from the Irish Cancer Society for the wonderful care they gave to Ollie during her illness, they would also would like to thank all their friends and family for their support and love during this difficult time.
