Noel O’Dowd

Professor Noel O’Dowd, Stradbally North, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway and University of Limerick. After a short illness, bravely borne.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Thérèse McHale and father Patrick. Deeply missed by his mother Bernie, stepdaughters Kate, Emma and Beth, brothers Paul and Patrick, nieces Kate, Sarah and Mary, sisters in law Catherine, Kate, Elaine, Mary, Ann Marie and Grainne, brothers in law Donal, Bernard and Kevin, father in law Bernie, aunts, uncles, cousins and all extended family and family in law, friends, neighbours, colleagues and students.

Reposing at his home in Whitethorn, Stradbally North, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway, H91K2W4 on Wednesday 30th April from 5-8 pm. Funeral cortège arriving at the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91HW58) on Thursday May 1st, for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm. Livestream (not recorded) on www.clarinbridgeparish.ie. Family flowers only by request. Burial afterwards in Clarinbridge Cemetery.
