Michael (Mick) Walshe, Knocksquire, Borris, Co. Carlow, 3rd November, 2025, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Borris Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by his brothers Pa, Billy & John and sister Brigid.

Michael, loving husband of Margaret, adored father of Jacqueline, Paula and Aisling and cherished grandfather of Liam and Emma. Deeply regretted by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law Greg. Micheál and Michael, brother Jim, sister Mary, brother-in-law Jim, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, & friends.

May Michael’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at Joyce’s Funeral Home, Borris on Wednesday November 5th from 5pm until 8pm.

Requiem Mass at 11am on Thursday November 6th at St. Fortchern’s Church, Rathanna, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret, Jacqueline, Paula, Aisling and the extended family would like to thank most sincerely all those who looked after Michael in his home, allowing him to reside there for as long as was possible. Your kindness and patience will not be forgotten.
