Michael Quirke, Gurteen Cottage, Templeglantine, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Kilcara House Nursing Home Duagh on Monday, 15th September 2025 with his wife Noreen by his side. Predeceased by his parents Michael J. and Julia, daughter Leann and brothers Patrick and Jim. Michael is very sadly missed by his loving wife Noreen, daughters Julia and Patricia, stepchildren Francis and Orfhlaith, grandchildren Ella, twins Michael and Maura, Emily, Sarah, James and Sam, sons-in-law Alex, Karl and David, daughter-in-law Lucy, brother Timmy, sister Ann and all his other relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Wednesday, 17th September from 6.00 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. Requiem Mass for Michael will be celebrated in The Church of The Most Holy Trinity, Templeglantine on Thursday, 18th September at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment in the adjoining Reilig na Tríonóide. Requiem mass will be live streamed on this link. Family flowers only please.
