Michael Quigley

The death has occurred of Michael (Michael Angelo) Quigley, originally of Glasgow, who has passed peacefully at his home in Ardatole, Townawilly.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Michael (Stephanie), Janie (Ross) and Tim (Pamela), his grandchildren, Juliet, Hugo, Samuel and Hugh, sister-in-laws Margaret and Sue and his many close friends, neighbours and former customers.

Predeceased by his wife, Sandie, his brothers Toni and Giovanni and his parents, Tommy and Natalia.

Michael’s remains will repose at Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94 FX3A from 2pm to 7pm on Saturday 1st Nov 2025 followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town to reside overnight.

Michael’s requiem mass in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town at 11:30am on Sunday 2nd Nov 2025 with burial in Linn cemetery Glasgow on Wednesday 5th Nov 2025 at 2:30pm.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Donegal Hospital Patient comfort fund.
