Michael (Mick) Abbott

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Abbott, late of Pound Street, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Brosna, Co. Offaly. Mick passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday 19th April 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff of Rivervale Nursing Home. Predeceased by his loving wife Nell, parents Delia and Michael, sisters Kathleen, Nancy, Eileen and Teresa. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving daughters Julie, Eileen, Michelle and Elaine, sister Madge, sons-in-law Mike and Eamonn, partners Noel and Liam, his adored grandchildren Laura, Nikki, Mikey, John, Chloe, Lisa, Megan, Dominic, Rachel, Scott, Heather, Fayth, Caelum and Andi and his 11 great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Monday April 21st at Ryan's Funeral Home Nenagh from 2.30pm until 4pm. Funeral arriving on Tuesday, to St. Mary of the Rosary Church Nenagh, for Funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in Kenyon Street Cemetery, Nenagh. Mick's Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.nenaghparish.ie
