The death has occurred of Michael MacDonagh, Oaklawns, Mullingar, and formerly Lower Salthill, Galway - September 8th, 2025.

Predeceased by his adoring mother, Mary (Molly), father, Vincent and beloved granddaughter, Síofra.

Remembered with love by best friend and partner, Liz; children, Eleanor, Gavin, Olive, Joanne, Michael and their mother, Veronica, their partners, Pat, Angelina, Colin and Andrew; Liz’s children, Michael, Rachel and Mark, and partners, Jen and Ciaran; grandchildren, Aifric, Cúán and Murach and Liz’s grandchildren, Sam and Rían; brother, Eugene, sisters, Eleanor and Vera, extended family and friends. Sadly missed by Pebbles and Pickles, his loyal companion pets.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home, Mullingar, (N91 K660) on Friday, from 5.00 p.m., concluding at 7.00 p.m.

Michael’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, at 11.00 a.m., in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, and may be viewed on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie. Followed by private family cremation.
