Michael Joseph Butler

MICHAEL JOSEPH BUTLER, formerly of Kells, Co. Meath, past Chairperson of Irish United Nations Veterans Association (IUNVA) and retired Irish Soldier, passed away April 26th 2025 (peacefully) at Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath with his family by his side.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Lelia, infant son Paul and beautiful grandson Sean.

Sadly missed by his loving daughters Anne, Colette and Pauline, grandchildren Peter, Cian, Ciarán, David, Eoin and Kate, brother Bill, sons-in-law Mick and Andy, partner Stephen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home Lucan on Monday evening (April 28th) between 6pm and 8pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning (April 29th) to Arbour Hill Church (Church of the Sacred Heart), Dublin 7 arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.
