Michael James Kelly Carraghs, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon. Sunday, July 13, 2025 (peacefully), surrounded by his devoted family. Beloved husband of Bernie and loving father to Michael, Brendan, Kevin, Anne Marie (McIntyre), Sean, and Helen. Much-loved father-in-law to Edel, Linda, Tina, Debbie, Brian, and adored grandad to Claire, Conor, Aoife, Cillian, Caoimhe, Jacob, Darragh, Dylan, Mikey, Evanne, Eimear, and Eva, and his great-grandaughter Nova. Michael James is deeply mourned by his loving family, his sister Rose & brother in law Mike Gaffrey, sisters-in-law Rita Corry and Pat Cockitt, Helen’s partner Frank, nephews, nieces, cousins, his extended family, and a wide circle of friends.

Michael James is predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Mary, his sister Catherine (USA), and his niece Catherine (Byrne).

Michael James will repose on Wednesday evening at McDonagh's Funeral Home, Castlerea, from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock. The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough, on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in Ballinlough cemetery.
