Michael Hickey

The death has occurred of Michael Hickey, O’Rahilly Avenue and formerly St Oliver Plunkett Terrace, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

Michael passed away peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital on Friday morning with his family by his side. The last of a family of eight, he is pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Agnes and his siblings. Beloved husband and father, he will be sadly missed by his loving wife Winnie, sons Brendan, Kevin and Niall, daughters Geraldine, Fiona and Anne, grandchildren Ross, Michael, Gillian, Adam, Kevin, Ava, Emily and George, great-grandchildren Indie and Orla, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Monday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Tuesday to St Mary’s Church, Irishtown. Funeral Mass on arrival at 12.00pm. Those who cannot attend can watch live via the St Mary’s Parish livestream service https://www.churchservices.tv/clonmel. Burial will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.
