Michael Halligan, Seapoint House, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, 31 October 2025, peacefully at the Mater Private Hospital, and in the presence of and surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Mary and adored and treasured father of Rachel and Ross.
He will be forever missed by his loving family, Mary, Rachel, Ross, his brother John, his sisters Deirdre and Claire, his daughter in law, Sinead, son in law Niall and his adored grandchildren, Sophie and Jack, his sisters in law, Deirdre, Evelyn, Geraldine and Pauline, his brothers in law, Jorge, Vincent, Derek, Tom and Michael, and all his nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and large circle of friends.
May our beloved Michael rest in eternal peace.
Reposing at his home, Seapoint House, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, K32 VX52, Monday 3 November 2025 5pm – 7pm, removal from his home on Tuesday 4 November 2025 to St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, arriving for 1.30pm Funeral Mass. A private family cremation will take place separately on Wednesday.
All other times strictly private.
The family would like to encourage funeral attendees to wear bright colours, where possible, to reflect Michael’s style and passion for life.
Michael’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to all their relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness at this time. They would also like to acknowledge the wonderful care shown to Michael and to them by Professor Jim Egan and all the staff at the Mater Private Hospital (St. Joseph’s Ward).
