The death has occurred of Michael Finnegan. Cloughvalley, Carrickmacross. 16th July, 2025. Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his cherished family.

Predeceased by his parents Owen & Katie and his brothers Gene, Larry & Anthony and his sisters May, Bridie & Kathleen.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his wife Eilish, his daughters Pauline (Padraig), Martina (Adrian), Majella (Noel) & Philomena (Dessie) and his son Declan (Sandra), his much-loved grandchildren; Kellie, Nathan, Adam, Grace, Katie, Ava, Eimear, Tiernan, Rhianne, Emilie & Esme, his brothers Packie-Joe, Seamus, Gerry & Eamon and his sister Rose, his extended family, friends & neighbours.

Michael will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross A81 D328, on Friday, 18th July, from 3pm until 8pm.

Michael's Funeral cortège will leave his home, Cloughvalley, on Saturday, 19th July, proceeding on foot via Rockdaniel Road, Farney Street & O'Neill Street to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
