Michael Edward Lavelle

Michael Edward Lavelle, Bunnacurry, and formerly of Dugort East, Achill, peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday 28th October 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Alice.

He will be dearly and lovingly missed by his heartbroken wife Ann (Née Sweeney), brothers Joe(Dugort) and Pat(Galway), sisters-in-law Soledad(Dugort), Mary(Dublin) Patricia(London), and Angela(Dublin), brother-in-law John(Bunacurry) nieces, nephews, extended family and his wide circle of good friends and neighbours.

Michael will repose at Lavelle’s Funeral Home (F28 Y0H9) Cashel, Achill on Wednesday 29th October from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his residence Thursday morning to St Joseph’s Church, Bunnacurry for requiem mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Bunnacurry cemetery.
