Michael Connell

Connell, Michael, late of Santry and Marino and formerly of the Sunday World Newspaper – 17th September 2025 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family. Michael, beloved husband of Molly and loving dad of Gerard, Paul, John, Francis and Michelle.

 

Predeceased by his parents Annie and Michael, brothers Leo and Desmond.

 

He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughter, grandchildren James, Peter, Sarah, Glenn, Jamie, Liam, Ian, Daniel and Stephen, great-grandchildren Avery, Ayla, Croí, Cara and Senan, daughters-in-law Honor, Yvonne and Denise, sisters Aileen and Deirdre, brother-in-law Jack, sister-in-law Maureen, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West (D11 W7VX) on Saturday (20th September) from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Funeral on Monday morning (22nd September) to Our Lady of Victories Church for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, in lieu to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
