Meg (Margaret) Hession, Clarin Crescent, Athenry and formerly of Northgate Street, Athenry.

Meg peacefully passed away surrounded by her adoring family and in the care of the wonderful staff of Galway Hospice on Sunday, 27th July.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, and her siblings Sean, Tom, Jody, Marian and Ita.

Meg will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, Pat and Martin, daughters in-law, Elaine and Sofia, grandchildren Lorna, Aoife, Niall, Elias, Emma and Ellen, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Tuesday, 29th July from 6pm to 8pm. Arriving to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry on Wednesday 30th July for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry. Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to Parish radio 106.5fm.
