Maurice (Mossie) Neilan

The death occurred of Maurice (Mossie) Neilan, Ardfert Village, Kilmoyley and formerly of Ballyhorgan, Ballyduff Co. Kerry.

Predeceased by his brothers Eamon and John, sister- in- law Hannah Neilan and brother- in- law Joe Kelleher.

Mossie passed away peacefully in the excellent care of the team in University Hospital Kerry on 11th October 2025. Deeply regretted by his loving family his wife Betty, daughter Marie, sons Adrian, Tomás & Francis, son- in- law Francis, daughters- in- law Suzann and Anne, grandchildren Anna, Jack & Francesca, Laoise & Tomás, Grace, Elizabeth & Eamon, sisters- in- law Christina (Causeway), Eileen O' Callaghan (Killarney) & Joan Curran (Wexford), niece Suzanne and nephews Damien & John, grandnephews and grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Casey's Funeral Home, Causeway on Tuesday 14th October from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral cortege for Mossie will arrive at St. Brendan's Church, Ardfert Wednesday morning at 11.45 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial will take place afterwards in the New Abbey Cemetery, Ardfert.
