Sweeney, Maureen (nee Delahunty) Castleknock, formally of Rathmines and Brocka, Westmeath. Died 14th July 2025 peacefully in Curam Care Nursing Home, Navan Road. Maureen was married to the late Frank and loving partner to the late Michael. She will be very sadly missed by her loving family Cassian, Patricia, Frankie and Richard, grandchildren Barry, Mark, Maureen, Gráinne and Suibhne, great grandchildren Alice, Auraya and Áine, nieces Deirdre, Maureen and Anna, Michael’s daughters Liz and Mary and his grandson Luke, the wives and partners of the above and the many, many close friends and admirers of her wonderful voice.

Reposing in Lanigans Funeral Home, Faussagh Avenue on Thursday from 2-4pm. Removal on Friday morning to St Thomas the Apostle Church, Laurel Lodge for 11am Mass followed by Cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Garden Chapel
