Meade, (nee Sheehan) Maureen, (Rush, Co. Dublin and formerly of Mashanaglass, Macroom, Co. Cork) - June 28th, 2025. Passed away peacefully in her 95th year, in the dedicated care of Loughshinny Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her devoted husband Thomas, sisters Kathleen and Hannah.

Maureen will be sadly missed by her loving children Caitríona, Maurice, Siobhán, Maria and Madeline, their partners Danny, Warren, Declan and Yvonne, her grandchildren Blánaid, Roisín, Andrea, Jack, April, Chris, Tom, Dan, Dervla, Niall, Ruairí, Con, Oisín, Tiarnán and Aisling, her brother Timmy, her great grandchildren, Niamh, Luna and Sofia, her nieces and nephews in Cork, her extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

The Meade family would like to pay tribute to the staff of Loughshinny nursing home whose kindness and care was exemplary.

Reposing at Fitzgerald's Funeral Directors, Channel Road, Rush on Tuesday evening from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 10 am in St. Maur's Church, Rush, followed by burial in Whitestown Cemetery.Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the National Council for the Blind or the Alzheimer’s Society.
