Matthew (Matt) Coffey, Monilea PO, Mullingar, County Westmeath,7th June 2025 Passed away peacefully in his 88th year.
Pre-deceased by his parents Matthew and Rose, and his siblings Patrick, Joseph, Michael, Rita, Theresa, Bernadette, Alacoque, and Elizabeth.
Beloved husband of Breda and loving father of Mattie, Mary, Eilish (Kelly) and Kevin. Devoted to his grandchildren Amy, Colm, Megan, Steven, Rebecca, Jamie, Chloe, Katie and Joey and great grandchildren Abbie, Annie and Aidah. Will be sorely missed by his sister Annie Smith (Kells) and brother John (London), sisters in law, brother in law, daughters in law Mary and Siobhan, son in law Jimmy, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing in Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate Street, Mullingar (N91 RY65) on Monday, (June 9th) from 4pm concluding with prayers at 6.45pm removal thereafter to Church of the Assumption, Taughmon to arrive at 7.30pm. Funeral mass Tuesday (10th June) at 11am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
