Matt Butterly

The death has occurred, in his 80th year, of Matt Butterly, Ardballan, Togher, suddenly but peacefully at home. Matt, beloved husband of Vera and loving father of Barbara and Mary. Predeceased by his son Peter. Deeply regretted by his wife, daughters, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Eithne, grandchildren Aoife, Ciara and Matthew, great-grandson Reggie, brother Patrick, sisters-in-law Breda, Pauline, Mary, Dolores and Noeleen, brothers-in-law Willie and Nick, nephews Nicholas, James and Padraig, niece Ellen, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (Eircode A92 V38H) on Friday from 2pm followed by removal to Saint Columcille’s Church, Togher, arriving for Evening Prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Clonmore Cemetery.
