The death has occurred of
Mary Sheehan
(née Cheasty)
Sheehan (née Cheasty) (Friars Street, Kinsale, Co. Cork and formerly of Carrigavoe, Killure, Co. Waterford). Mary died peacefully at Clontarf Private Nursing Home in Dublin on Wednesday evening June 4th 2025. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick (Paddy), her parents Ellen and James, sisters Kitty, Margaret, Ellen, Bridget and Anne and brothers Tom, James and Edward.
Mary will be deeply missed by her daughters Helen, Paula & Maeve, her son Patrick, her sister Agnes, her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mary will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, Kinsale on Monday (June 9th) from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday (June 10th) at 12 noon in St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale.
The funeral will proceed afterwards to St. Eltin’s Cemetery.
