MARY RAFTERY (née Cunningham) Ballincurry, Glinsk, Co. Galway and formerly of Williamstown, Co. Galway. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the devoted care of the staff at Sonas Nursing Home Cloverhill (April 23rd 2025).

Mary is predeceased by her beloved parents Kate and John.

Mary will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Dannie, daughters Ann Marie Donohoe (Athleague), Cathy McCormack (Fuerty) and Margaret Heavin (Mount Temple), sisters Una Killackey (Derby) and Sadie Tuohy (New York), sons-in-law Aidan, Tommie and Ciarán, adored grandchildren Daniel, Alanna, Mya, Laura, Olivia, Liam, Aoife, Lily, Darragh and Emma, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Symth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening April 25th from 4.30 o’c until 6.30 o’c. Removal from her residence on Saturday morning April 26th at 10.30 o’c arriving to St. Michael’s Church, Glinsk F45 XN29 for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Ballinakill Cemetery.
