It is with deep sadness we announce the death of our mother Mary (Laura) Frawley (née Moore) (Garryowen Road, Limerick and formerly of Janesboro, Limerick).

On September 18th 2025, peacefully, at St. John’s Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by husband James and grandson Raymond.

Much loved mother of Christine, Michael, Lorraine and Seamus.

Laura will be deeply missed by her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sister Ann McCarthy, brother Tony Moore, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Friday, September 19th, from 4.30pm to 6pm.

Funeral will arrive Saturday, September 20th, at St. John’s Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for Requiem Mass at 10am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

Laura’s Funeral cortege will pass the family home after Mass to enable neighbours and friends to pay their respects.

Laura’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of St. John’s Hospital for their support.
