Mary Kate Burke (née Tiernan), Kiltyfea, Cloone, Co Leitrim, and Heston, London.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 28th May 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Rose (nee Gormley) and John and cherished brother John. Deeply loved, and missed forever by her husband Stephen, her adoring children Michelle, Paul, Amanda and Stephanie, their partners Jason, Claire, James and Julian and her seven grandchildren, Joshua, Padraig, Saidhbh, Samuel, Noah, Dearbhla and Daisy. Mary will be very sadly missed by the extended Burke and Tiernan families and her many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Funeral Arrangements

Mary’s remains will arrive at Knock airport on Monday 16th June 2025.

Reposing at Mylotte’s Funeral Home, Carna (H91 D2NK) on Tuesday 17th June from 5.30-7.30pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday 18th June at 12pm in St Mary’s Church, Carna (H91 DC53) and burial afterwards in Mweenish Cemetery, Connemara, Galway.
