Mary Joyce (née Kavanagh) 8 Hillview Tce, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow – 18th September 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family; predeceased by her loving husband Tom and son Eddie. Much loved mother of Mark, Anne, Mary, Liz, Thomas, Laura, Denis, Kieran and Michael. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her 18 grandkids and 6 great-grandkids, sister Nancy, sister-in-law Eileen, life long friend Masie, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Mary’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Friday from 4pm with removal at 7pm to her sons residence for private reposal. Funeral arriving to St. Brigid’s Church, Hacketstown on Saturday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest with Tom in Hacketstown Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. John’s Caring Centre. Donation box in Church.
