Mary Jo Geraghty, late of Derrygarve, Newport, Co Mayo, Nov 2nd 2025.

The death has occurred of Mary Jo Geraghty, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the wonderful staff at Mayo Hospice.

 

Predeceased by her husband Johnny and son Aidan.

 

Mary Jo will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, Marian, Kieran, Ollie, Yvonne & Nuala, sons in law, Declan & John, daughters in law Siobhan & Siobhan, her adored grandchildren, Lisa, Hannah, Cailín, Sean, Peter & Eva, sister Sally, brother John Joe, brother in law, Seamus, sister in law, Maura, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Reposing in St Dominick's Funeral Home, Newport (F28 H682) on Wednesday evening November 5th from 5 o'clock until 7pm.

 

Funeral Mass in St Patrick's Church, Newport at 12 noon on Thursday followed by cremation service at 4o'clock in Shannon crematorium.
