(née Dowling)

Mary Geoghegan (nee Dowling), Monemore, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, formerly of Lyrath, Dublin Road, Kilkenny. Mary passed away suddenly on 27th July 2025.

Pre-deceased by her sister Eileen O'Neill. Mary will be deeply missed by her loving husband Michael (Bunter), daughters Pauline, Claire and Grainne, sons-in-law Wayne, Mark and Brendan, grandchildren Gavin, Rachel, Tadhg, Cian, Niall, Jenny and Mikey, sisters Kathleen, and Bridget, brothers John and Pat, and her brothers and sister-in-law. Mary will also be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and all who knew her.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Home, Bagenalstown (R21 DY66) on Thursday from 2.pm, Concluding with Funeral Prayers at 7.pm. Removal from her residence on Friday morning arriving at St. Andrew's Church, Bagenalstown for Funeral Mass at 11.am. Burial afterwards in The Cemetery of the Assumption.

Mary's funeral Cortege will walk to the Vocational School (Coláiste Aindriú) and drive to the Cemetery from there.
