On Friday morning, Martin completed his life’s journey surrounded by family at the Mystical Rose Nursing Home, Claregalway. Dearly beloved father of the late Patrick (Paukie) and John and grandfather of the late Megan, Katie and Ciara. Predeceased also by his siblings Padraic, Evelyn and Maura.
Deeply loved and mourned by his wife Mary, daughters Marion and Bridie, sons-in-law Mike and Davy, daughters-in-law Caroline by his adored grandchildren David, Laura and Keith, Hannah and Leah, Donna, Colin, Kyle and Barry, Grace and Ruairí and great grandchildren Robbie and Maisie.
Fondly remembered also by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, lovely neighbours and many friends.
For this one farmer the worries are over,
lie down and rest your head,
Your home now is heaven;
no more must you wait,
Your legacy lives on,
and we will close the gate.

Martin will Repose at home from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Monday, July 28, 2025
Removal from his home at 12 noon to the Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway to arrive for Requiem Mass therein at 12.30 p.m.
Mass will be livestreamed – see the link below. Following Mass Martin will be laid to rest in Claregalway cemetery.
Memorial Donations if desired to the Mystical Rose Resident’s Comfort Fund.
