Martin died on July 19th 2025, peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. He was late of Melbourne, Australia and was a native of Clarecastle, Co. Clare. He was predeceased by his beloved parents Agnes and Martin, infant son Martin Patrick, sister Joan and brother James.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife and best friend Bríd (née Lynam, Ballycumber), dear sister Margaret, brothers Michael and Patrick, sisters Agnes, Connie and Mary, family and friends in Ireland and Australia.

Grant Martin Eternal Rest and Peace

Martin will repose in The Granary, (R35 NX30) adjacent to St. Manchan's Church, Boher, Ballycumber, Offaly on Monday evening (July 21st) from 6pm to 7.30pm, removal afterwards to the adjoining Church.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (July 22nd) at 11am, and may be viewed on https://youtube.com/live/fHYObMTKaIo?feature=share

Afterwards Martin will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.
