Marie MURPHY
(née Murphy)
Marie Murphy (née Murphy) of 88 New Oak Estate and formerly 92 Pearse Rd., Graiguecullen, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on May 22nd 2025, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved wife of Jim, much loved mother of Sharon, Michelle and James, adored grandmother of Emer, Robert, Róisín, Rhys, Hayley, Eoin, and Cara and cherished sister of Peter, John-Joe, Trisha, Vincent, Una, Veronica and the late Eddie.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law James and Thomas, daughter-in-law Fiona, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, good neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home, 88 New Oak Estate, Carlow (Eircode R93 F519) on Sunday (May 25th) from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal from there on Monday morning at 10.15am in St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
