Margaret Rooney (née Maher) of Rockfield Park formerly Kilmurray Cottages, Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow.
October 27th 2025 peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital after a long illness.
Pre-deceased by her husband Billy (William) Rooney and her parents Paddy and Madge Maher (née Murphy).
Remembered with love by her children Lorraine, Stephen and Andrea, daughter-in-law Sinead, son-in-law Jonathan, siblings Freddie, Anne, Joan, Anthony, Sadie, Patricia, Deirdre, Patrick and Sharon, grandchildren Dylan, Evan, Kayla, Luke, Conor and Adam, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her home on Wednesday evening (October 29th) from 4pm until 7pm.
Funeral Mass on Thursday (October 30th) at 3.15pm in St. Mochonog’s Church, Kilmacanogue, after which Margaret will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
