Margaret, who was fondly known as Rita, died on April 16th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the excellent care of the staff at Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, sisters, Mary Jo (Dunne), Kitty (Dempsey), and Bernie (Cunningham), and brother John.

Rita will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, Clare (Ruffalo), Josie (Molloy), Martina (Molloy), Liam, Margaret (McDaid), Michéal and Martin, her 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brother Joe, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rita will repose at Esker Rí Nursing Home on Holy Thursday (April 17th) from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Good Friday morning (April 18th) to St. Carthage's Church, Killina, where her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11am and may be viewed on https://rahanparish.ie/.killina-webcam/..

Interment afterwards in Rahan Cemetery.
