Gretta died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Denis and much loved mother of Geraldine, Seán and the late Della. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughter and son, sons-in-law Kenneth and Aidan, daughter-in-law Christine, her adored grandchildren, Aoife, Cian, Oisín and Dayna, the extended Duggan and Madden family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral arrangements:

Wednesday 05 November, 2025 : Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family funeral parlour, Mervue from 4.30 p.m. with Removal into the adjoining Church at 6.00 p.m.

Thursday 06 November, 2025 : Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Gretta at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass she will be laid to rest with her husband Denis in Bohermore Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to COPD.
