Marcus A Sweeney

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Mick and Peggy and his brother Charles.

Marcus was much loved and his loss will be keenly felt by his loving wife Irene, son Fiachra, daughter-in-law Emily, grand-daughters Clara and Thea, brothers Michael and Gerard and sisters Margaret and Mary, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and wide circle of extended family, good neighbours and colleagues.

May He Rest in Peace.

Marcus will repose at his residence on Sunday afternoon 14th September from 3.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cronan's Church, Roscrea (E53 PK82) on Monday 15th September at 12 noon followed by cremation service in Shannon Crematorium at 4.00pm.

There will be a traffic flow operation on Sunday: Parking will be provided at Dromakeenan National School, Birr Road, Roscrea (E53 PK37) with a regular shuttle bus service to and from the house. Please note for safety reasons there will be strictly no parking at or near the family home and access to the surrounding roads will be restricted to the buses for mourners.

For those who cannot attend funeral or cremation service, live streams will be available and added when available.
