Liz O’Brien (née Manning) (Ballincollig and Cork City)

On November 2nd, 2025, Liz passed away peacefully surrounded by her devoted family in the tender loving care of the excellent staff at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, beloved wife of Bernard and devoted mother to Ross, Claire, Adam, and Conor. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Frances Manning, Commons Road. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband and family, son-in-law Harry and daughter-in-law Marianne, sisters Patsy and Deirdre, brothers John, and Brian, as well as her in-laws, nieces and nephews. Liz will be dearly missed by her loving lifelong friends Thora, Marie, Breda, Sheila, relatives, colleagues in the CUH Switch, neighbours and her many friends.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig (Eircode P31 W982) on Tuesday (4th) from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Wednesday (5th) in the Christ Our Light, Ballincollig (P31 HW74) https://www.churchservices.tv/ballincolligchristourlight followed by burial at St Senan’s Cemetery Tower.
