Lily Elizabeth Kavanagh
(née Byrne)
Lily Elizabeth Kavanagh (née Byrne) formerly of Mill Road and Rathnafishogue, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow – 18th October 2025 peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny after a short illness surrounded by her loving family; predeceased by her loving husband Donal. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Helen, son Peter, sister Marie, daughter-in-law Mairead, grandchildren Eva, Pia and Peter, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
May Lily’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing at her residence (Eircode R93 Y266) on Monday from 2pm concluding at 8pm. House private thereafter please.
Funeral arriving to St. Brigid’s Church, Hacketstown Tuesday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest with Donal in Hacketstown Cemetery.
It was Lily’s request that people wear bright colours at her funeral.
