Lena Saunders, (née Comerford), Mantingstown, Coolagh, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.

 

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Friday, 25th July 2025.

 

Pre-deceased by her husband Michael, her daughter Ann, her sisters Mary Ellen, Joan and Betty and her daughter-in-law Traci.

 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing family, sons Billy, Eamon and Michael, brother Tom, daughters-in-law Annie, Deirdre and Michael’s partner Linda, grandchildren Ruth, Claire and James, Elena, Jenny and Mikey, brothers-in-law Tommy and Séan, sister-in-law Peggy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her home in Mantingstown, (Eircode R95 RX33), on Saturday, 26th July from 4pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 8pm.

 

Funeral arriving to The Church of Our Lady, Coolagh, (Eircode R95 EW98) for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, on Sunday, 27th July 2025.

 

Burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
