Ken McGurdy

McGurdy, Ken (3rd May 2025), late of Walkinstown, Dublin 12 – passed away unexpectedly at Tallaght University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

 

A devoted husband to Val, cherished Dad to Rachel, Paula and Luke. Deeply missed by his son-in-law Roly, daughter-in-law Jen, Rachel’s partner Will, beloved sister Jean and Pop to his adored grandchildren Cormac, Elijah, Caoimhe, Matilda and Jonah. He will be missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

 

Ken was a kind man with a quick wit, always ready with a joke. His family was his world, and he filled theirs with love and laughter.

Reposing at his home on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. House private outside of these times. Funeral Service on Friday at 11am in the Methodist Church, Ballinteer Road, Dundrum followed by refreshments in the church from 12pm to 1.30pm. Burial to follow in Mount Jerome Cemetery arriving at approximate 2pm.
