Josie Farrell
(née Morrissey)
Josie Farrell (née) Morrissey, Foxhill, Athy, Co. Kildare, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday 27th October. Predeceased by her husband Ned, brother Johnnie, sister Maureen and nephew Declan. Josie will be sadly missed by her sons, Gerry and Eamonn, grandchildren, Jamie, Scott and Emma, great grandchildren Cara and Jake, daughters-in-law Amy and Olivia, sister-in-law Lily, nephew, nieces, neighbours, relatives, extended family and friends.
May Josie Rest in Peace.
Josie will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Wednesday 29th October 2025 from 3.30pm until removal at 5.45pm (recital of the Rosary at 5.15pm) with reception prayers at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy at 6pm. Funeral Mass at 11am on Thursday 30th in St. Michael’s Parish Church. Followed by burial after in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery.
