Josephine (Josie) McAssey

The death has occurred of Josephine (Josie) McAssey, Seskin Road, Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow. November 2nd 2025 Peacefully in the loving care of the Staff in the Nore Ward, St. Luke's Hospital Kilkenny.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, sister Eileen and brothers Tommy, Martin and Sean. Sadly missed by her loving family, son John, grandsons M.J. and Kevin, sister Clyle, great-grandchildren Liam and Luke, daughter-in-law Mai, MJ's wife Elaine and her good friend Dolores, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

May Josie Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Home Bagenalstown (R21 DY66) on Tuesday from 3.pm, Concluding with Funeral Prayers at 7.pm.

Removal on Wednesday Morning, arriving at St. Lazerian's Church Leighlinbridge for Funeral Mass at 11.am. Burial afterwards in the Adjoining Cemetery.
