The death has occurred of Josephine Hamilton (nee Kirrane) on Monday, 27th October 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tom, parents Michael & Nora and brothers Martin & Michael James.

She will be deeply missed by her children Martina, James & Mary; sons-in-law Brendan & Oliver, daughter-in-law Elizabeth; her adored grandchildren Mary, Thomas, Peter, Shane, Hugh, Shaun, David, Oisín, Kate, Dáire & James. Sadly missed by her brothers Johnny, Tommy and Brendan; sisters-in-law; brother-in-law; nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at her home in Fawn, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim F91 N264 on Wednesday, 29th October 2025 from 4pm to 8pm, concluding with prayers. House private outside of reposing times please.

Removal on Thursday morning 30th October 2025, arriving for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim at 12 noon followed by burial in Carrowcrin Cemetery.
