Joseph Boland

Joseph, 3rd November, 2025, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family.

 

Predeceased by his parents Jack & Eileen, his infant brother Thomas.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Philomena (nee Gallagher) sons Trevor & Paul, daughters Avril and Deirdre (Carolan), brother Gerard, sister Mary (Kearins, Maugherow) daughters in law Tara (Kelly), Orla (Quinlan), son in law Ger (Carolan) his much cherished grandchildren, sisters in law Mary (Mulligan), Margaret (Boland), Geraldine (Gallagher), brothers in law, Padraig (Mulligan), Gerard (Gallagher), Dessie (Kearins), nephews and nieces, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Remains reposing at his home on Tuesday Evening from 4:30pm to 8:30pm, please use shuttle bus from Skreen Dromard Community Centre (F91 EY01) Reposing on Wednesday evening in Saint Adamnan’s Church, Skreen, (F91 E621) from 6:00 o’clock until 8:00 o’clock. Funeral mass on Thursday at 11:30am followed by burial in Saint Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Dromard.

 

The Family would like to thank the staff of Oncology and Day services at Sligo University Hospital for their exceptional care of Joseph during his illness
