John Whelan

Whelan, John, late of Glasnevin and Fenagh, Co. Carlow – 26th October 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and the staff of the Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin. John, loving and devoted husband of Mary and much-loved dad of Graham, Emma, Aaron and the late Linda.

Predeceased by his parents Kate and John, brother and sisters.

He will be sadly and greatly missed by his wife, sons and daughter, grandchildren Leah, Saoirse and Colin, daughter-in-law Lei, sisters Margaret and Bernie, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral on Thursday afternoon (30th October) to Dardistown Crematorium for a Celebration of Life Service at 3 o’clock.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, in lieu to the Irish Cancer Society.
