The death has occurred of
John SMITH
John SMITH, Cathedral View and formerly of St. Lawrence's Tce., Mullingar, September 2, 2025 - peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar. John will be deeply missed by his son John, daughter Geraldine, his sister Mary, adored grandchildren Kyle and Jessica, nephew Michael, brother-in-law and sister-in-law.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar on Thursday September 4, from 5.00 o'c. concluding with prayers at 6.00 o'c. Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King, arriving at 6.30 o'c. Funeral Mass at 11.00 o'c. on Friday morning followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. John's Mass can be seen on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff and nurses at St. Elizabeth's Nursing Home, Athboy, for all their kindness and care given to John during his time there.
