The death has occurred of
John Minehane
On June 13th, 2025, JOHN, peacefully passed away in his 97th year in the presence of his loving family, in the care of staff at St Joseph’s, Bantry General Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Maureen (née Green), dear father of Christy, Betty, Kathleen, Noreen, Christine (Crowley) and the late Mary. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Kieran, Noreen’s partner Paudie, grandchildren Jessie, Kate, Ciara and Eoin, brother-in-law Nealie and his wife Josie, his many cousins, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Sunday June 15th from 5.30pm to 7pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday June 16th at 12noon at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
